Year Ender 2024: Top 5 Bollywood Films That Raked in Maximum at the Box Office

Year Ender 2024: 2024 has been a great year for film fans. This year saw films with great stories accompanied by great casting and great songs. Fans were hyped to storm the theaters multiple times in the same year. So, to summarize all that, this is the list of the top 5 Bollywood films that put up massive box office figures.

Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank

Kicking off the this list is the Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2. Directed by Amar Kaushik and also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Atul Srivastava among other cast members. Stree 2 was a highly anticipated release by film fans and saw massive numbers at the box office upon release. The film was made on a budget of ₹100 crore (approx.) and did a domestic business of ₹713.15 crore (approx.). The film also collected ₹144 crore (approx.) in the overseas market, taking the film's worldwide total to ₹857.15 crore (approx.) according to reports from Sacnilk.

Bhool Bhulaiya 3

Following Stree 2 is the Kartik Aryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiya 3. Directed by Anees Bazmee the film featured Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra among others. Upon release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 saw big numbers as fans flocked to the theaters to watch this sequel. Made on an estimated budget of ₹150 crore (approx.) the film collected ₹ 388.9 crore (approx.) worldwide, as per records from Sacnilk.

Shaitaan

Ajay Devgan takes the third spot in the list with Shaitaan. The horror-thriller directed by Vikas Bahl also featured R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj in key roles. The film had a reported budget of ₹60 crore (approx.) and ended it's box office run with a box office total of ₹213 crore (approx.) worldwide, as per reports from Sacnilk.

Crew

The fourth film that made the list is the multi-starrer film Crew. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, this heist comedy stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu in the lead roles. Crew had an estimated budget of ₹75 crore (approx.) and ended it's theatrical run with a worldwide total of ₹151.35 crore (approx.) as reported by Sacnilk.

Tero Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya

Concluding the list is the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah this comedy drama follows the story of a man who falls in love with a cyborg. The film was made on an estimated budget of ₹75 crore and earned a worldwide total of ₹133 crore (approx.), as reported by Sacnilk.
