CoronaVirus: After Delhi, now negative RT PCR report in West Bengal is necessary

There is a sudden spurt in cases of Corona Virus infection in some parts of the country. Following the precautionary steps taken to prevent infection in Maharashtra, now the Mamta Banerjee government of West Bengal has adopted Covid- in Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana.

Amid the increase in cases of Covid-19, on Wednesday, it has been made mandatory for passengers traveling from these states to submit a negative report of the corona virus.

RT-PCR test report valid-

According to the notification issued by the Health Department, now passengers coming from these states will have to undergo RT-PCR test to check the corona 72 hours before flight takeoff. It is also stated in the government notification, ‘Continuing the trend of increase of Covid-19 cases in the states of Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana and keeping the order issued last August, you are informed that the state The government has decided that from February 27, all passengers coming from these four states must compulsorily carry a Covid-19 Negative RT-PCR report.

Earlier, the Delhi government had taken similar steps. Officials said that an official order in this regard will be issued soon and it will remain in effect till March 15. This issue was also discussed in the meeting of Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Monday. Officials said that the mandatoryity of bringing the Kovid-19 ‘negative’ investigation report may come into effect from Friday night.

The pace of corona infection is also increasing in West Bengal. On Wednesday it was 5.74 lakh, after which 202 fresh cases of coronavirus were registered in the state. The death toll in the state is 10,256 as three more patients died due to fatal disease on Wednesday. These deaths were reported in Kolkata, North 24 Parganas and Uttar Dinajpur districts.
