Covid-19 Update: India reports 10,112 new cases

Covid-19 Update: In the past 24 hours, India has reported 10,112 new Covid-19 cases and 9,833 recoveries. India now has 67,806 cases active stands, with a total of 4,48,91,989 cases.

The 24-hour Covid-19 total has somewhat decreased from yesterday’s figures. Yesterday, 12,193 new Covid-19 cases were reported in India.

In the past 24 hours, India has also reported 29 new Covid deaths, including seven that Kerala has reconciled, bringing the total up to 5,31,329 now.

According to the most recent data, the weekly positivity rate is 5.43 percent and the daily positivity rate is at 7.03 percent.

The XBB.1.16 variety of the Omicron bacterium is currently the most common strain in the state, according to a health alert issued by the Maharashtra government on Friday.
