India has reported 23,529 new Covid-19 cases, 311 deaths in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the number of active Covid-19 cases in the country has declined to 2,770,20.
Out of 23,529 new COVID-19 cases and 311 deaths across India, 12,161 cases and 155 deaths were reported in Kerala yesterday.
Delhi on Wednesday recorded 41 coronavirus cases with a positivity rate of 0.06 per cent and zero deaths. Currently, the national capital has 392 active cases.
Goa reported 83 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday which took its caseload to 1,76,318, a health department official said. With four patients succumbing during the day, death toll due to the pandemic reached 3,312.

Telangana on Wednesday reported 245 new Covid-19 cases and one fatality. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 73. The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,620.
The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 97.85 per cent, highest since March 2020. At least 28,718 recoveries in the last 24 hours took the total number of recoveries to 3,30,14,898 in India.

The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed 88 crore as a total of 59,48,118 vaccine doses were administered in a day – the total vaccinations stand at 88,34,70,578.
