One day the US Vice-President Kamala Harris’s flight to Vietnam was delayed by several hours due to an “anomalous health incident”. The US officials in Hanoi said that an official in Vietnam was affected by the so-called “Havana syndrome”.
According to CBS News, the health incident in the Vietnamese capital was similar to the previous incidences of Havana syndrome reported in other countries in the US Officials.
To whom Havana Syndrome has impacted?
The Havana Syndrome has initially appeared in the US and Canadian embassies in Havana in 2016 and 2017.A growing number of diplomats and government personnel, in foreign locations mostly, have experienced this strange symptom.
The syndrome was first experienced by the US State Department personnel stationed in Cuba beginning in late 2016.Similarly the cases were reported in other nations including China and Austria. As per the BBC report, hundreds of US diplomats and other personnel have reportedly fallen ill with symptoms including ear ringing, nausea, and severe headaches.

What is Havana syndrome and its symptoms?
The syndrome was first reported by the US State Department personnel stationed in Cuba beginning in late 2016.The other officers at the American embassy complained about a rare sensation of pressure in their heads.
The other range of symptoms were dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, anxiety, cognitive difficulties and memory loss. As per the Wall Street Journal report, in certain cases diplomats and intelligence officers have to quit active service as a result of complications from the condition.
After knowing this the US government ordered the withdrawal of more than half its embassy staff in the city.
