What is the Reason?
Priyanka Shehrawat is heard cautioning against taking two medications at once in this video. Iron and calcium tablets, as the iron in the calcium obstructs the iron’s absorption from the tablet. If you take a calcium pill along with your 100 mg of iron, at least 70 to 80 per cent of the iron will not be absorbed into your bloodstream.
How Should You Take Them?
Additionally, if you take iron supplements, try taking vitamin C along with them, advises Dr Priyanka Shehrawat. You may take vitamin C pills for this, or you can take it with any citrus fruit. You may drink orange juice or anything similar with it if you’d like, as they are excellent for absorbing iron. Under such circumstances, you must stop taking iron and calcium supplements together as of right now, or else you won’t profit from them.
