Vacant Corona Beds: The cases of corona infection in the country have once again started increasing rapidly. Maharashtra and Delhi are the most affected by the Omicron variant of Corona. In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Delhi government has increased the number of beds in the hospitals.
The deteriorating condition of Corona in Delhi can be gauged from the fact that in the last 15 days, the rate of filling of beds in Delhi hospitals has increased 2.5 times. In the capital Delhi, the speed of infection from corona has increased up to 28 times.
According to the information, during the second wave of corona, the number of patients admitted to the hospital was much more than this time.
According to the data of the Delhi government, in view of the increasing cases of corona, so far 11,211 beds have been arranged in the hospitals, out of which 876 beds have been filled. Still 10335 beds are vacant.

In view of the devastation caused in the second wave of Corona, the government has already arranged for oxygen beds for serious patients. 10,561 oxygen beds have been arranged in Delhi hospitals, out of which 851 beds have been filled so far.
There are still 9710 oxygen beds vacant in hospitals in Delhi. At the same time, 3157 ICU beds have also been arranged for seriously corona infected patients. In these ICU beds, 228 beds have been filled while 2929 beds are still vacant.
In view of the danger of Omicron variants of Corona, the Delhi government has also arranged for ventilators along with ICU beds. In view of the danger of corona, the government has arranged for 1412 beds, out of which 78 beds have been admitted while 1334 beds are still vacant.
So far 5481 new cases of corona have been reported in the national capital.
Giving information, Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the infection rate in Delhi has reached 8.37 percent. In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Delhi government has decided to reserve 50 percent beds of all private hospitals for corona patients.
In the order issued by the government, it has been said that where there will be more than 50 beds in a hospital or nursing home, 40 percent of the beds will have to be reserved for corona patients.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister said that the decision of weekend curfew imposed due to increasing cases of corona should not be considered as a lockdown.
