With the aim of taking ‘Yoga’ to every household and keeping Delhiites fit and away from diseases, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has started the program ‘Dilli Ki Yogshala’.
Under this, all citizens of Delhi can get free yoga training at their doorstep 6 days a week. Delhi government will provide classes and teachers free of cost to the residents.
Participants will have to do yoga in an open space such as a park or community hall.
To make this yogashala a success, 400 yoga teachers have been associated with this initiative, who will go door-to-door to teach free yoga to the people of Delhi. In such a situation, 30 district coordinator teams have been prepared to monitor these teachers from time to time.
