Do not pop pimples
A pimple is caused by trapped oil, sebum, and germs. It tells you that the body’s natural healing system is in action. Popping a pimple disturbs the healing process. In addition the the discharge from the pimple spreads and infects surrounding skin.
Avoid touching the face
Hands carry germs and touching the face can release dirt, oils, and germs onto the skin, causing outbreaks.
Moisturize
After washing the face hydrate it with moisturizer. Moisturized skin may control sebum production and prevent damage.
Sunscreen is a must
The sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays cause skin damage. Apply sunscreen anytime you go out. This will protect your skin from damaging rays.
Go for mild products
Be choosy and select products that are mild if you require extra skin care. Products that may aggravate delicate skin include alcohol-based goods, toners\exfoliants\astringents.
Avoid hot water
Hot water in shower, bath, or even while washing hands and face can leave the skin dry. Use lukewarm water instead.
Keep cleaning tools mild
Exfoliation is necessary to remove dead skin cells. However make sure your washcloths, sponge or loofah is not abrasive. Rough devices may potentially hurt the skin and cause inflammation.
