Health Tips: The Bollywood diva, Bhumi Pednekar was seen showing off her stunning figure at the red carpet event of her upcoming film, Thank You for Coming. The actress was seen in a haute red dress as she walked the red carpet of the TIFF23 event. As she appeared at the event, she showed off her perfect figure in a body-hugging red silk dress. However, the actress was not always as slim as she is now.
Bhumi Pednekar’s weight loss transformation
During her early years, this actress went through a drastic weight loss transformation. Moreover, she revealed some of her daily healthy habits that contributed to her weight loss of 32 Kg in a short amount of time. Since the release of her debut film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, released in 2015, the actress went from 89 Kg to 57 Kg and has since kept up with this transformation. Here are a few things Bhumi did to lose weight quickly and in a healthy way.
How did Bhumi Pednekar Lose weight?
- She Dropped refined sugar from her diet. Instead, she consumed natural sweeteners, that too in moderation. However, her favourite is raw honey.
2. While working out, she especially focussed on strength training. This includes lighting, squats, lunges and pushups. Moreover, she also does cardio twice a week.
3. She kept her diet simple and desi. However, she replaced the humble roti with healthier alternatives, like Bajra roti, or Jawar and Nachni rotis. She also puts a tiny dollop of white butter on it.
4. She also emphasises the importance of an active lifestyle instead of staying seated and doing nothing for long periods. Activities help your heart to keep pumping.
5. She regulated her carb intake. She stays away from unhealthy carbs and consumes healthy carbs, in moderation.
6. Her dinner consists of a big bowl of Salad. She packs a lot of greens and veggies in this bowl of salad. This is nutritious, healthy and streamlines weight loss
7. The actress mostly prefers home-cooked meals over eating outside, as it is not processed and is healthy.
8. She keeps herself hydrated at all times.
