Health Tips: The actress Janhvi Kapoor is known for her sizzling looks and glamorous appearance that has stolen the hearts of many. However, the actress undergoes a lot of vigorous fitness regime to achieve a toned body. Similar to many actresses, Janhvi Kapoor also suffered through body dysmorphia before becoming an actress. Since her journey as an actress, she has been following an intense pilates workout routine to stay fit.

Who is Namrata Purohit?

In a recent post shared by Janhvi Kapoor’s fitness trainer, Namrata Purohit, Janhvi’s 1-hour pilates routine is shared. Namrata Purohit is a 30-year-old Pilates instructor who also broke the record of becoming the youngest Pilates instructor at the age of 19. She now trains many celebrities such as Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

Janhvi Kapoor’s 1-hour pilates routine

In her recent post, she penned a heartfelt letter to Janhvi Kapoor for her hard work and expressed how fun it is to work out together. The post is captioned, “A 1-minute glimpse into our 1-hour class. In Janhvi’s words today, “You should write a book on ways to kill a client.” but honestly it’s great fun working out with someone who starts off as a client and ends up as a workout buddy! I feel proud of how far they’ve come, and happy that I don’t need to monitor every move as they’ve learned the form and understood their body. well done @janhvikapoor it’s the slow burn that’s the killer ”

In the clip, she breaks down all the pilates exercises the actress does from start to finish, which combine to form her full 1-hour workout routine. The actress and the trainer stand parallel to each other at their respective equipment and work out synchronising.

Benefits of Pilates

Pilates has various health benefits. It tones the body and gives it a sculpted appearance. Along with this, it helps with flexibility and strengthens the muscles of the abdominal area, legs, back and bottoms. Overall, it helps burn fat and make the body appear leaner and stronger.
