Bihar‘s Litti Chokha has made its identity in the whole country. Almost all the people of India are aware of the taste of Litti Chokha, but making the authentic dish is not a matter of everyone’s capability. Litti Chokha, the staple food of Bihar, is made in every household. It is so fulfilling that one does not feel hungry for a long time. Litti Chokha can be eaten as lunch or dinner. It is a complete meal in which sattu is stuffed in Litti made of wheat flour, in which many types of spices are added and served with brinjal or potato chokha.

Wheat flour
Salt
Oil
Water (as needed)
Ingredients for stuffing
Sattu
Salt
Mustard oil
Chopped Onion
Kalonji seeds
Ajwain
Pickle
Ingredients for aloo chokha
Boiled potatoes,
Chopped Coriander
Chopped green chillies
Salt
Mustard oil
Whole red chilli
Ingredients for Tomato and brinjal chokha
Tomatoes
Brinjal
Chopped chilli
Chopped coriander
Mustard
Lemon juice
Whole red chilli
Chopped Ginger
Ghee
Mouthwatering Litti Chokha Recipe
To make the dough for litti, mix all the ingredients mentioned above in the proper quantity and knead well. Make sure it is tight.
For stuffing, take Sattu in a bowl and mix Mustard Oil, Salt, Kalonji seeds, Ajwain, and Pickle. Check salt and sourness according to your taste
Now take the prepared litti dough and make balls out of it. Now make a hole in the middle of that ball and close the hole by putting the filling of prepared sattu. Make sure that the stuffing does not come out.
To make Aloo Chokha, take boiled potatoes and mix the ingredients mentioned above and mash them well.
Roast tomatoes and brinjals well on fire, after that when they are cooked, peel off their skin. Now place the peeled tomatoes and brinjals in a bowl and mash them. Add all the mentioned ingredients and mix well.
As per your wish, you can roast the litti in the fire or bake it in the oven and when it is cooked well, put it in ghee. Finally, serve the litti dipped in ghee with Aloo Chokha or Tomato Brinjal Chokha.
