Natural products for healthy skin
The Gunjan Saxena actor recently revealed that she always depends on natural products to maintain healthy skin. “My skincare routine is, I make it a point to have a nice shower every time I’m getting a little sweaty or icky. I need to have a hot shower, it really opens up my pores,” said Janhvi.
The actor also shared the seven natural products that she uses. “I only use natural products like milk, honey, malai, yogurt, and fruits. And before sleeping, I mix rosewater and glycerine and I put it on my skin,” Janhvi said.
Here we reveal to you the secret seven ingredients that are easy to use and also super-affordable.
Milk
Milk contains natural lactic acid. It removes dirt and sebum from the pores while keeping the skin moisturised. Milk also slows the signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. It soothes the skin and cures various skin problems including sun burn and tanning. Milk is also a natural toner that gives radiance to the skin.
Honey
Honey is a gentle exfoliator that deeply cleanses the skin. Regular use of honey helps in lightening the scars and dark spots on the skin. It revives dull and tanned skin and leaves it deeply moisturized.
Malai
Malai or milk cream is a boon for those with dry skin. It deeply moisturises dry and lifeless skin, along with gently exfoliating it. Malai can be used alone. You can also mix it with other natural products like haldi, besan, or lemon juice.
Yogurt
Yogurt benefits the skin in multiple ways. Its regular use can maintain the pH balance of the skin, deeply moisturize the skin and act as a gentle exfoliator. Yogurt soothes sensitive, acne-prone skin, and can reduce inflammation and skin infections to a great extent. It is also an excellent anti-aging agent.
Fruits
Fruits are great anti-oxidants and excellent source of Vitamin C. Regular consumption in both the diet and skincare regimen helps in collagen production, which helps in delaying the signs of aging. Fruits like papaya, lemon, banana, and others are used to treat pigmentation, acne scars, and other skin concerns.
Rosewater
Rosewater has multiple benefits. It acts as both a cleanser and toner, as it gently cleans the skin while leaving it deeply moisturised. Rosewater can be used for all skin types, and has almost zero side effects. Regular use of rosewater will add radiance to the skin.
Glycerine
Another affordable product, glycerine helps the skin in many ways. It soothes irritated and inflamed skin while providing moderate moisturisation. Use it if you have extremely dry skin or are bothered by dark spots and discolouration.
