And Koreans know it best when it comes to having Glass Skin, a skincare concept in which the skin reflects like glass due to its clarity and translucence. It is a popular K-beauty craze that has swept the globe. Glass skin is akin to having a clear complexion, a smooth texture, and plump skin. Here we bring to you at Korean home remedies for achieving that glassy look at home. Actually, these home remedies have been used in India too for ages.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has excellent natural characteristics. The gel is excellent for dry, damaged skin, has naturally faded scars and hydrates the skin.
Slice an aloe vera leaf in half and remove the gel. Apply the gel to your face and let it sit for an hour. Rinse your face with warm water and pat it dry.
Rosehip Oil
Rose hips are the fruit of the rose and have also been used in Ayurveda in the treatment of ailments and also in skin problems. The essential oil of Rosehip contains high omega-3, vitamin E, and vitamin A, all of which aid in removing scars and blemishes. Suitable for people of all skin types, you must apply 3-4 drops of rosehip oil to your face every night before bed and wash it in the morning. Within a week, you will see a significant difference.
Sugar Scrub
Sugar Scrub is one such solution that works wonders for exfoliating the skin.
Take half tablespoon of each white and brown sugar, add some water. Then apply the mixture to your skin for two to three minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water now. Use this scrub at least once a week before going to bed.
Honey
Use only organic honey, which is high in nutrients & antioxidants and help to keep your skin flawless and smooth.
Combine one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make a thick paste and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Using water, rinse it off and pat your skin dry.
Fermented Rice Water
Rice water eliminates UV skin damage and promotes collagen formation, which maintains the skin smooth and wrinkle-free.
Boil some rice, strain it, and save the water. Allow it to cool completely before transferring it to a spray bottle. You can also avoid boiling the rice by soaking it in water overnight and collecting the water the next morning. Allow to ferment for 2-3 days before applying as a face spray.
