Noida News: Get ready to indulge in a culinary extravaganza as the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) brings the renowned National Street Food Festival to Noida. Here’s all you need to know about this exciting event:
Hyper-Local Street Food Festival in Noida
Experience the vibrant flavors of street food from across the country at the Noida Utsav, a three-day extravaganza organized by NASVI in collaboration with SIDBI. From February 2 to 4, foodies can savor delectable treats at Noida Haat in Sector 32, from noon to 10 pm.
A Gastronomic Delight
Indulge your taste buds with a wide array of street delicacies, including aloo chaat, malai kebab, afghani kebab, tava chicken litti, malaiya makhan, and kesariya doodh. But that’s not all! The festival also showcases handicraft products such as carpets, khadi garments, tarkashi woodwork, and terracotta artifacts, offering visitors a unique shopping experience.
Zero Waste Food Festival
Taking a sustainable approach, the Noida Utsav aims to be a “zero waste” food festival, setting a milestone in Uttar Pradesh. Street food vendors will use eco-friendly alternatives like leaf-based, wooden, and bamboo cutlery, while all waste will be segregated for composting or recycling.
Promoting Livelihood Opportunities
Beyond just food and shopping, the festival serves a larger purpose of promoting livelihood opportunities for street food vendors. Through panel discussions and training sessions, micro-entrepreneurs will gain insights into market understanding, government schemes like Mudra loans, and more.
A Platform for Talents
With 50 vendors from across the country showcasing their culinary skills, along with budding artisans and performers, the Noida Utsav provides a platform for talents to shine. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the rich diversity of street food and culture at one of Noida’s most anticipated events!
