A rare variety of mangoes, Kohitur mangoes are known for their unique enriching qualities. In India, only a few farmers in Murshidabad produce Kohitur mangoes. It is said that this variety of mango was only grown and consumed by royal households.

Alphonso Mango
Alphonso mango is a premium quality mango that is rich in nutrition. It is often. The Alphonso mangoes of Ratnagiri are socially popular across the world. Also known as Hapus, this variety of mango is regarded as the “king of mangoes”. Alphonso is a major horticulture crop in Maharashtra’s Konkan belt and parts of the Western Ghats.
Cost in India: Rs 2,200 to Rs 5,000 per dozen.
Sindhri Mango
Sindhri mangoes are considered mango royalty. The mango is cultivated in Sindhri a town in Sindhi, and other areas of Sindh province in Pakistan. The mango is known for its extremely sweet nature and aroma. It is often regarded as the Queen of Mangoes.

Carabao mango
The Carabao mango is cultivated in the Philippines. It is internationally exported due to its high demand. It’s extremely sweet in taste. When ripe, the mango usually appears bright yellow tinged with green. Like other Southeast Asian-type mangoes, it is polyembryonic.
Cost in India: 150-200 rupees per kg.
Noor Jahan mango
Noorjahan is considered to be an extraordinarily rare mango variety. It is cultivated in the district of Murshidabad in West Bengal. It’s widely popular for its huge size. On Noorjahan mango weights about two kg to five kg.
