Monsoon can be a little harsh on our health, impacting our immunity and gut. From hair fall to skin problems and dengue to typhoid, there are many diseases that get triggered during the rainy season. These disease usually target those with low immunity level, affecting their overall health and wellness. Sadhguru aka Jaggi Vasudev has suggested several easy practices which can play a vital role in boosting your immunity. We are mentioning five such habits below:
Neem
Before performing your morning rituals, take eight to twelve neem leaves on an empty stomach. You can chew them and keep them in your mouth until your experience a bitter taste. Keep it in your mouth until it’s swallowable. Neem leaves are efficacious gains a score of skin diseases. The leaves of neem contain chemicals that may help reduce blood sugar levels.
Turmeric
Sadhguru also suggested consuming turmeric every day in the morning and allow it to stay in stomach for at least for one hour before you have first meal of your day. It is best if you can organic turmeric to perform this practice.
Raw Amla
Raw Amla or Indian Gooseberry can do wonders to your health. Sour in taste, amla is find across different parts of the country in distinct sizes. All you need to do is smash one amla, put a little salt on it and just chew it. You can also keep it in your mouth for an hour or two for the best results.
Raw Mango
Raw Mango can easily be fount in this season. Do not wait for the mango to ripen and eat the raw mango with a pinch of salt. It can up boos the immune system significantly, says Sadhguru.
Chyawanprash
Chyawanprash can greatly build your immunity. It’s specially good for people beyond the age of 60. It’s best to consume Chyawanprash at night before sleeping.
