Sadhguru gives tips for a healthy life
The spiritual guru revealed some substances with some tips to get better skin care, and immunity and prevent infection. Let’s take a look at his five tips for a healthy life;
Sesame – Sadhguru says that black sesame is a rich source of antioxidants, zinc, copper, iron and Vitamin B. It helps him during his trekking trips by keeping him energetic throughout because it does wonders with the cartilage and bone joints of a person. It also encourages heart health. Sesame also helps in keeping the skin healthy and glowing during winter.
Horse Gram – Sadhguru says that it is the most protein-rich lintel on the earth. He revealed that it’s called Kolu in Tamil. To eat it, you can keep it in a bowl in your room by taking a white cloth, putting it in that and soaking it in the water for 6-8 hours. After that, tie it in a cloth and keep it closed and it will sprout in three days. You can eat the sprouted horse gram by chewing it. It will increase heat in your body and you can balance the heat by eating sprouted green gram.
He said that if you have excessive heat in your body then you have to take asshort oil and apply it inside the navel or the anahata and on the two spots behind the ears to get rid of excessive heat.
Honey – Sadhguru said that if you want to get rid of respiratory infections then all you need to do is to take hot water, a little bit of honey, a little bit of turmeric and some pudina and coriander, every 3 hours. These substances make the infection less effective and save from getting infected.
Amla Soaked in Honey – Soaking three spoons of amla in honey, along with green pepper or black pepper, three times a day makes some changes to your immune system. You have to take it empty stomach for 6-8 weeks to witness changes.
Practice Simha Kriya – Simha Kriya improves lung capacity and immune system. If you find difficulty in doing it after some days it means that you have some respiratory problems. Doing it twice a day will boost your immune system but if you fail to do it one day then your respiratory system will tell you that something is wrong.
