Samantha asks Sadhguru about spiritual ego among the different types of egos such as material ego, success ego and so on. Sadhguru begins by saying that ego and person are not two entities. The nasty aspects of us cannot be diminished by calling it our ‘ego’. However, Sadhguru says that our nasty and good aspects are all parts of us.

When Sadhguru gets asked about spiritual ego, he clarifies that it is Jargon. However, he talks about how loosely people use the term spiritual worldwide. He gives an example of the time someone googled ‘spirituality’ and the first result was a Salon and the second was a call girl from California. Therefore, Westerners can advertise spirituality using proper SEO. However, the true meaning of spirituality is brought by the Eastern cultures. At the same time, the spiritual ego is something that is a part of us and is who we are. Therefore, the only way of getting rid of it is by acknowledging it and working on it
