Sadhguru Tips: Sadhguru talks about the dimensions and says that there are 21 dimensions in the creation. Moreover, creation is something that keeps happening and there are 20 that have happened. When asked why there are 16 offerings in Guru Puja, he gives detailed insights on it.
16 offerings in Guru puja
He talks about the first 4 offers which are of oneself. He throws light on them saying that it is absent in the yogic system but is present in the tantric system. In the said system, the tantric could do something like chop their head off and offer it to the goddess. However, he says that for normal people, we need to focus on the offerings that are not a threat to ourselves.
The 16 offerings are the 16 ways you can make the guru feel welcomed. Moreover, the Guru puja stone has 16 sides where the puja is taken place. He also emphasises that the puja is a ritual where each individual in the ritual has to be equally involved, unlike meditation where everyone performs it individually.

Sadhguru says that in the 21st century, meditation is more relevant than ritual as it is very hard to get even your family to do the same thing. Moreover, most people are stuck in the cycle of thinking their brain is independent. Sadhguru believes that nothing in this world is independent, everything is inclusive.
Exclusivity of mind
exclusivity leads to death. whereas, ritual is a beautiful way to live life. However, for now, meditation is the way to go. Only when people possess a certain level of inclusivity can they perform rituals and live a beautiful life.
