Sadhguru Tips: Jaggi Vasudev gives opinion on having a child

The spiritual guru always addresses important questions and he gives interesting answers. Most recently, a woman asked Sadhguru, “As a woman I sometime wonder or question the idea of bringing a child into this world.”

The spiritual guru answered, “Normally, people congratulate you if you, you know, either conceive and become pregnant or if you deliver a child. But, in today’s world, a young woman, if she chooses, not to, I congratulate you because that could be one of the greatest services you render to the world. I know this will make me super unpopular, but I want you to understand this. If you were a tigress, I’d say ‘You must reproduce,’ because it’s an endangered species. We are not endangered. We are conscious human beings. We can choose everything. I’m not saying you must have a child, I’m not saying you must not have a child. I’m saying whether you have one or you don’t have one, must be conscious decision.”
