This actress stepped away from the conventional beauty standards to do roles of all kinds that let her inner beauty glow. However, this diva likes to serve jaw-dropping fashion looks on red carpets and other events. Additionally, she takes a huge interest in skincare and doing bold makeup looks.
Bhumi Pednekar chooses skincare over makeup
As she sat down to interview with Vogue, she was asked to choose between makeup and skincare. The actress did not take any time before answering, skincare, as she firmly believes a good base will lead to a good makeup look. She says, ” It enhances what you already have and gives you the freedom to play around. That’s the fun part of beauty–it helps your individuality shine!”
Bhumi Pednekar’s skincare routine
Bhumi emphasises the importance of skincare and reveals her skincare routine. She follows the mantra of CTM, or Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing
- She starts with a gentle cleanser to remove all the dirt and grime from her skin
- She then uses a toner that balances the PH level of her skin
- She then uses a hydrating moisturizer, that keeps her skin supple and youthful
- She never forgets to put on Sunscreen, not only when she is stepping out into the sun, but also when she is indoors. She calls it the most crucial part of skincare
- When she is not busy, she likes to use Vitamin E and Argon oil on her skin
- She also makes use of a lot of at-home, all-natural ingredients on her skin, such as honey, turmeric milk mask; and Almond oil
- She drinks a lot of water
Bhumi Pednekar believes in inner beauty
Apart from this, Bhumi maintains a healthy diet and regular exercise which also contributes to healthy skin. Moreover, she also talked about how outer beauty is secondary. Inner beauty is developed by self-love and positive affirmations that you tell yourself. The more comfortable and happy you are with yourself, it will automatically reflect on your outer beauty.
