The recipe involves mixing 1 tbsp of raw honey, a squeeze of lemon juice and a tiny pinch of cinnamon powder. She applied this mixture to her skin and left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it with cold water.
This recipe is for people with sensitive, acne-prone skin. The cinnamon powder facilitates blood circulation in the skin, whereas, honey soothes the skin and nourishes it. Lemon juice is a source of Vitamin C that has brightening properties on the skin.
Ananya Panday
Ananya Panday easy skincare mask is a combination of three ingredients found in every Indian household. The actress mixes these ingredients, 1tsp yoghurt, 1tsp Honey and a small pinch of Turmeric. She applies the mixed batter directly on clean skin. Not only that, she suggests massaging the product onto the skin, before leaving it for 15 minutes. Once the mixture is semi-dry, wash it off, revealing radiant skin
The combination of the three ingredients is very effective as the lactic acid in yoghurt acts as a gentle exfoliating agent. Moreover, turmeric is an age-old recipe for dark spots and dullness. All this is paired with honey which is calming and moisturizing.
Kareena Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor shared her home recipe for the ultimate clear skin mask. This mask is a mixture of four ingredients, 2 tbsp of Sandalwood powder, 2 tbsp of Vitamin E, and 1/4 tsp of turmeric mixed with milk. She applies this mixture all over her skin and lets it dry. Once dry, she washes it off, leaving the skin feeling clean and fresh.
Sandalwood is a traditional ingredient that helps with any breakouts or pigmentation. It also increases the elasticity of the skin.
