Vastu Tips

Vastu Tips: Most bedrooms in the modern day and age contain attached bathrooms in them. It makes the lives easier for the people living in the house as they do not have to step out of their rooms for anything. However, having a bathroom in the room can have its downsides, according to Vastu Shastra. However, these negative energies can be easily removed by following these vastu rules.

Direction

The ideal direction to place a bathroom in the bedroom is northwest or west zone. One must strictly avoid the other directions like the northeast as it is considered a highly pure and auspicious direction. Therefore, one should not build bathrooms or toilets in the area.

Bathroom door

The door of the bathroom should be on the northern or eastern wall of the bedroom. However, make sure that the door is not facing the southwest direction. Along with this, never keep the bathroom door open.

Leakage

In the bathroom, any repairs or leakage must be fixed immediately. Moreover, make sure each water tap is tightly closed after use each time. Loss of water in an attached bathroom of the bedroom can be considered highly inauspicious and can lead to money loss.

Ventilation

In the attached bathroom, there needs to be proper ventilation with windows and an exhaust fan. Along with this, make sure the bathroom wall is not adjacent to any pooja rooms in the house.

Colours

In the bathroom, make sure to go for light and neutral colours for the walls. Along with this, the shower curtains should also contain light colours to give a soothing and comforting effect in the washroom. Moreover, avoid over-decorating the bathroom and keep it minimal and upbeat.
