Not only are they extremely aesthetic to look at, which makes the house enhance vibrancy, it also good for the health of the members of the house. Most houseplants can clean and purify the air quality, preventing various types of diseases. Moreover, house plants are easy to maintain and require little sunlight, making them a great option for your home decor. However, certain Vastu Shastra rules are to be followed for the proper balance of elements of nature.
Living room
A lucky bamboo plant is considered auspicious to be placed in the living room. However, ensure that the plant is placed in the north or east direction to bring good luck to the house. Avoid the southwest corner at all costs. However, it is important to ensure that spikey plants are not kept in the living room which causes vastu dosh.
Bedroom
Avoid placing thorny and prickly plants in the bedroom. Instead, use plants with round leaves or a soft exterior. Moreover, ensure that the plant receives proper sunlight. At the same time, avoid plants like cactus and bonsai at all costs. Furthermore, the plant should not be kept right next to or above the bed. Additionally, ensure that all plants are well maintained. Dying plants are considered to be inauspicious
Kitchen
In the kitchen, place the plant in the southeast or northwest corner of the kitchen. However, the plants should be small such as mint, basil or aloe vera. At the same time, make sure these plants are not kept on or near the window in such a way that it restricts sunlight. This can stop the positive energies from entering the house. Additionally, keep the area around the plant clean and clutter-free
