Vastu Tips

Vastu Tips: Gifting presents is a form of love language. We gift our friends, relatives and partners gifts as a token of love that they can cherish forever. Vastu Shastra is the ancient Hindu tradition that is set to form a balance between the natural and the man-made. Therefore, according to Vastu Shastra, there are a few things one must never accept as a gift from anyone. Not only as a gift, one must never accept these things. The reason behind this is that these objects bring vastu dosh that can have harmful effects, especially in the form of financial wealth. Here are the things one must never take from anyone.

Handkerchief

Using someone else’s handkerchief is considered to be highly inauspicious. However, not only that, taking a new handkerchief for free or getting gifted one is considered to be a vastu dosh as well. This could potentially ruin the relationship you hold with that person.

Oil

Taking oil as a gift can lead to major financial loss. As oil is associated with Shani dev, one must offer it to god. However, taking it as a gift can be detrimental to your bank account.

Salt

Even something as simple as salt should not be taken for free from our neighbours or anyone for that matter for free. These things can cause major problems in Saturn that can directly affect our health and finances, which could even lead to debt.

Needle

A needle should never be taken from anyone for free even by mistake. This could cause relationship issues such as misunderstandings, fights and other major problems as well.

Matchstick

Accepting a matchstick or even a matchbox is considered inauspicious because it is symbolic of fire. This could cause trouble in the family, causing fights and chaos
