The Tulsi plant should always be kept in an area with plenty of sunlight. Tulsi plants are not thought to be healthy if they are kept in dimly lit areas of your home or places with little to no light.

Some people plant tulsi on their property, but this is not a good idea. It is never advisable to plant tulsi in the ground. Cultivating a Tulsi plant in a pot is regarded as lucky.
