Vastu Tips

Vastu Tips: Everyone is excited to update the decor in their homes when the new season arrives to welcome in the fresh vibes. People typically like to create a cosy and friendly atmosphere during winter. When decorating your home for the winter, bear these Vastu principles in mind to bring happiness into your living space. Through this post from Vastu Shastri Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, tells us about the guidelines that the expert has recommended you adhere to when changing the décor during the winter months.

Right Directions

It is recommended that you hang the posters facing south as you decorate your home for the next season. It’s said that doing this will make your house and life seem cosier. You may also choose to display posters of a fireplace, flame, etc. for this.  The centre or southeast directions are the best options if you want to install a fireplace to keep the interior of the house warm. In this sense, it lets positivity into the house.

Keep Plants

On chilly days, things can become a little depressing and hopeless. Most people would rather stay indoors because plants are thought to purge negativity and bring optimism into your house. The expert advises you to maintain as many natural plants as you can in your home’s drawing room or entrance. They are also said to lift your spirits. Cacti, bonsai, and other watery plants, such as rubber plants, should be avoided. Although real plants are thought to be a superior alternative, artificial plants can also be kept to provide some colour to the space.

Furniture Changes

Use as much wooden furniture as you can in the house if you wish to modify the furniture. This is due to two factors: first, it is neither overly hot nor chilly depending on the season; second, it infuses positivity into the home.

Rule for Carpet

Maintaining warmth in your home can be achieved by including a carpet in your décor. But keep in mind that, according to Vastu, it is detrimental if dust and bacteria build up inside. For this reason, you should take great care of it. Furthermore, this may result in health problems for the occupants of the home.
