Vastu Tips

Vastu Tips: Sleep is an important factor in life. According to experts, one requires seven to eight hours of sleep to thrive in the world. However, not everyone can get this much sleep due to a busy lifestyle or hectic working hours. However, some have time to sleep but are unable to sleep peacefully, which is also due to several factors. According to Vastu Shastra, the ancient tradition of layout, there might be certain Vastu factors that might be causing disruptive sleep. Here are some things to avoid while sleeping at night

Colour

Often, it is the colour of the room that we are sleeping in that causes sleeping problems. Therefore, make sure the colour is a light pastel shade on the walls and curtains. This facilitates a peaceful sleep for long hours.

Alum

Placing an alum on the bedside is also considered auspicious as it is considered a symbol of positivity. However, this helps get rid of bad dreams. To go the next mile, once a week, wash the house with salt water.

Copper

Placing a copper vessel in the room somewhere will help you get rid of bad dreams and nightmares. This is recommended for people who are tired of constant dreams.

Direction

The direction is a very important factor in determining your sleep, according to Vastu Shastra. Therefore, it is recommended to sleep with the head facing the north or east direction.

Wash feet

Before going to bed, it is important to clean your feet with lukewarm water to avoid bad dreams at night. Moreover, one can also apply some coconut oil on their forehead to ward off nightmares.
