Vastu Tips: According to the ancient scriptures of the Vastu Shastra, there are a few prescribed rules to follow to lead a trouble-free life. These Hindu scriptures form a harmony between the natural and the man-made, bringing balance to all-natural elements of the world. However, these can be followed by everyone to invoke positive energies into the house and ward off any negativity in life. There are some specific things one should be mindful of around the house to ward off these negative energies.
Salt
Salt is considered an aura purifier and can help get rid of negative energies and jujus. Therefore, one can wash the house with salt water to do so. Apart from this, a little rock salt can be kept in the room to clean the energy. However, remember to keep changing the salt timely. Otherwise, it will be counterproductive.
Waste
Do not store unused or waste items in the house. This is especially relevant for furniture, which should be avoided being stored at all costs. These items collect bad energies into space and cause trouble in many ways. Moreover, it is important to keep the house clean.
Plants
Indoor plants not only purify the air but also the energy in the house. Not only are they aesthetic, but they are also considered extremely auspicious according to the Vastu shastra. Apart from this, outdoor plants in the garden are also considered auspicious, such as tulsi.
Mirrors
There is a proper way of placing mirrors that fits into the rules of Vastu Shastra. Although this study is very extensive, one should not keep a mirror behind a study table or right opposite a bed. This leads to fights, confusion and misunderstandings among family.
