Vastu Tips: Being creative helps you express your innermost self most artistically. It is not only a form of inner expression, it also provides some form of aesthetic pleasure. However, being creative is easier said than done. Not everyone has this innate quality. It is cultivated through time. Moreover, the right energy flow is necessary around the house to let your creative juices flow. Here are some essential Vastu rules for creativity.
Colours
The colours in your house walls should invoke a sense of creativity within you. Colours such as green, blue or a mixture of the two are said to stimulate the brain to be creative. one can paint the walls, place colourful objects, curtains and rugs. Even lighting influences the overall colour of the house.
Clothes
Be expressive with the clothes you wear not only outside, but even around the house. Wear clothes that express your deepest self and make you feel yourself. This will build confidence and creativity to the maximum. The preferred clothes colours include, pink, red, blue, green, yellow. These colours invoke positive energies.
Direction
While working on something creative, it is advised to face the north or the east direction for maximum effect. Moreover, placing a water piece in the southeast part of the living room is considered auspicious. For Aquariums placed in a room, north will also do. These include fountains or aquariums. The garden should be in the North or east direction.
Flowers
Place flowers around the house that bring positive energies and light to the house. These flowers are not only aesthetic, they bring out a balance of what is natural and what is man-made. Moreover, they smell very fragrant and beautiful. On top of this, placing flowers on a workstation can reduce stress and help one be creative. However, one should change the flowers once they have shrivelled because that is not considered auspicious.
Rock salt
Place a tiny amount of rock salt in the corner of the room. This is known to ward off any negative energies, keeping the energy pure in the room. However, it is important to note that the salt needs to be changed every month. Otherwise, it could cause adverse effects
