2100 Crore collected for Ram Mandir construction

The ongoing fund dedication campaign from Makar Sankranti for the construction of a grand Ram temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi came to an end on Saturday. In the fund dedication campaign, people from every section of the country have given generous donations for the Ram temple. 2100 crore rupees have been collected so far in the campaign. Now the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust is planning to run a fund dedication campaign for the Ram temple in foreign countries as well. It will be decided at the next meeting of the trust.

The treasurer of Sriram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust Govinddev Giri said that the Magh Purnima, the ongoing fund dedication campaign for the construction of Ram temple, has ended on 27 February. Treasurer Govinddev Giri said that every section of people from east to west, from north to south, have given heart voluntary dedication for the construction of Ram temple.

Treasurer Govind Dev Giri says that the estimated cost of the temple can be up to 1500 crore rupees. In such a situation, the trust has got more donations. The cost of the temple will vary as the foundation plan changes. The Chanda campaign can be re-run at a cost increase. Swami Govind Dev Giri said that people living abroad are also demanding a similar campaign in other countries.

In such a situation, the decision of how to collect donations from them will be made in the meeting of the temple trust officials. On the other hand, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai says that there is no limit on how much it will cost. After the temple is built, it also has to be expanded. Many donors have just received their money from checks. Correct accounting is being prepared which will take some time.
