Timings For Republic Day Program
At 7.30 a.m., the Republic Day program will begin. The flag will only be raised at this moment by President Draupadi Murmu. On January 26, the procession will begin to stream live at nine in the morning. On January 26, the procession will begin at Vijay Chowk at 10.30 a.m., travel down the duty path, and conclude at the National Stadium.
Early Start for Delhi Metro
For the convenience of the public, Delhi Metro has decided to begin metro operations on January 26 at 4 a.m. Apart from this, special vouchers will also be handed to the passengers at the metro station to reach the parade destination. Only the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations would have access to the duty path. Passengers entering from enclosures 1 through 9 as well as V1 and V2 would disembark at Udyog Bhawan, according to Delhi Metro. At the Central Secretariat metro station, those with invitation cards from enclosures 10 to 24 and VN will be permitted to deplane.
Traffic Restrictions on Duty Route
There will be no traffic of any kind on the duty route from Vijay Chowk to India Gate starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday due to the Republic Day Parade. These limitations will stand until the conclusion of the procession. On January 24, starting at 10 a.m., traffic will be prohibited on Rafi Marg, Janpath, and Man Singh Road till the conclusion of the procession. Food and Beverages
Snacks, ketchup, other condiments are prohibited from being brought to the procession. In addition, cans, water bottles, and thermos flasks are prohibited.
