9 dead as tourist vehicle rear-ends govt bus in Kerala’s Palakkad

A painful accident occurred in Kerala this morning due to the collision of two buses. A tourist bus collided with a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus at Vadakkanchery in Kerala’s Palakkad district, killing 9 people and injuring 38. Minister of State MB Rajesh gave this information.

Earlier in Gujarat’s Vadodara city on Tuesday, a container truck rammed a three-wheeler on the national highway. Five people died and four others were injured in this accident. It was told that there were about 10 people in the three-wheeler. The officer had said that the container truck lost its balance after colliding with a car and broke the divider and went to the other side of the road and collided with a ‘chakra’ (three-wheeler).


At the same time, on Tuesday, five people, including two women, were killed after the car collided with a state transport bus in Latur, Maharashtra. A police officer had said that the accident took place at around 8.30 am on the Udgir-Nalegaon road in Haibatpur village. Six people, including two women, were in the car. He was returning to Nanded after visiting a temple in Tuljapur when his car collided with a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation bus on the way. He told that the collision was so severe that his car overturned.
