CM Arvind Kejriwal: Sunday saw the official opening of the Sarai Kale Khan flyover extension by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said that residents would experience relief from the traffic starting today with the opening of the Sarai Kale Khan flyover extension. He stated that quick development projects are a top priority for our administration.
Sarai Kale Khan Flyover Extension Enhances Delhi’s Transport Network
After around a year and a half, the Sarai Kalekhan flypast was finished. There are three lanes on this 620-meter flyover. Passengers can now conveniently travel from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Ashram Flyover and subsequently to the regions of South Delhi and Noida thanks to the completion of this flyover. There used to be a one-way flyover for cars travelling from Ashram to ITO. The main road was experiencing traffic congestion as a result of the bus stop being close to ISBT. However, passengers can now take the flyover directly from South Delhi‘s DND flyover to ITO. Normally there used to be a jam here and people had to get stuck in the jam for 10-15 minutes, but now people will get a lot of relief from the jam.
The Aam Aadmi Party’s Emphasis on Development
The report indicates that an iron span has been erected in the centre of the flyover. Additionally, it has been stated that a green space will be built beneath the 620-meter Sarai Kalekhan flyover extension. CM Kejriwal declared that people will now experience relief from traffic after the construction of this flyover. According to him, the Aam Aadmi Party government is placing a greater emphasis on development projects.
