Amit Shah

Amit Shah: On Monday, Navratri puja was held at the Sharda temple in Kashmir by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Since 1947, there hasn’t been any worship performed in this temple. The Home Minister stated on Twitter that this is a representation of the valley’s restoration to peace.

Navratri Puja at Sharda Temple on the Line of Control

A Navratri puja was held on Monday at the recently built Sharda temple in Titwal, Kashmir, which is situated on the Line of Control. On March 23, 2023, the Home Minister officially opened the temple. The pre-partition temple was built on the same plot of ground and according to the same blueprint as this one. In a tweet, Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the fact that this year’s Navratri puja was held in Kashmir’s revered Sharda temple for the first time since 1947 was of profound spiritual significance. The chanting of Shardiya Navratri Puja are now resonating in the temple after Chaitra Navratri Puja was observed at the beginning of the year.

Amit Shah’s Gratitude

He added that I was fortunate that the temple was reopened on March 23, 2023, following renovations. It not only represents the restoration of peace in the valley but also Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership’s reigniting of our nation’s spiritual and cultural flame.
