Manish Sisodia: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has moved to Supreme Court to challenge his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). A Delhi Court on Monday sent Sisodia to five-day CBI custody till March 4. He was arrested on Sunday in an Liquor policy scam case after being grilled by the Central probing agency for 8 hours. The plea will most probably be presented in SC today, seeking an urgent hearing.

Manish Sisodia arrested
Manish Sisodia was arrested on Sunday night after eight hours of questioning by the CBI. Ahed of questioning, Manish Sisodia had addressed the people of Delhi in a road show. The DY CM also asked Delhi’s children to study meticulously and said he will leave his food if they won’t study.
Sisodia has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
