AAP Leaders Gather at Rajghat! Arvind Kejriwal to Surrender at Tihar Jail Tonight, CM Bhagwant Mann Pays Visit

Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann pays a visit to Arvind Kejriwal prior to his capitulation in Tihar Jail. With the assistance of other AAP leaders and ministers, Kejriwal is scheduled to surrender today following the Supreme Court's granting him temporary release to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

Arvind Kejriwal: Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, arrived at Arvind Kejriwal’s house today. This tonight, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will surrender himself in at Tihar Jail. He was permitted by the Supreme Court to campaign on May 10 for the Lok Sabha elections. On June 2, he was requested to surrender in at Tihar Jail. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived at Arvind’s house in the meantime. where he and Arvind Kejriwal arrived at Rajghat.

Arvind Kejriwal to Surrender at Tihar Jail

From Rajghat, Delhi ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Kailash Gehlot, and other AAP leaders departed, along with Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal will surrender at Tihar Jail later today after the interim bail granted to him by the Supreme Court to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections on May 10 expires.

Education Minister in Delhi Government, Atishi said on the surrender of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, “We want to thank the Supreme Court for granting 21 days interim bail to CM Arvind Kejriwal. He came out and campaigned and contributed to the democratic process. We respect the SC. No AAP leader is afraid of going to jail. Arvind Kejriwal is going to surrender and he is going to Tihar today.”
