Rajkumar Chauhan, one of the three accused, is currently 47 years old. According to the police, the murder accused, who was returning from Qatar from Rajkumar, was arrested at the airport. The three accused are accused of killing three sons including a woman and her daughter.

The remaining two accomplices of the murderer Anil Saroj and his brother Sunil are still absconding. Police said that the murderer Rajkumar was working in a glass company in Qatar.

The murder took place in the year 1994

Police say that all three had executed the murder with a sense of revenge. The murder came to light when the woman’s husband Rajnarayan Prajapati returned from work.

According to the information received by the police, the killers sexually assaulted Rajnarayan Prajapati’s wife Jagrani Devi. Whose husband had opposed and said about the complaint. Police had reached Varanasi on the spot

DCP Avinash Ambure said that the matter was re-investigated last year. A team from Kashimira’s Crime Intelligence Unit visited Varanasi in UP in June 2021, following a clue that the accused was a resident of there. After spending around 20 days in the city with the SIT of Varanasi Police, the police got a tip-off about Chauhan alias Kalya alias Saheb. They came to know that he was working in Qatar since 2020 and his passport details were obtained.

Following the information received by the police, a Look Out Circular (LOC) was issued at immigration check posts in the country. However, Rajkumar Chauhan, accused of murder, was completely unaware of this. On Thursday, when he was passing through immigration at the Mumbai airport, the police arrested him. Police said that Chauhan is being questioned about the whereabouts of the Saroj brothers.
