The Enforcement Directorate will today grill former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister in the Delhi Liquor Policy Case. The ED will record Manish Sisodia’s statement in money laundering investigation linked to the liquor policy case. The AAP leader was sent to Tihar Jail for two weeks. The ED will question him in Tiahr jail today as a part of its investigation.
Manish Sisodia to be grilled by ED today
Former Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be questioned by the ED in now-scrapped excise policy case. The AAP leader was arrested by the CBI in this case on February 26 and was sent to judicial custody till March 20.
The AAP leader has been accused of giving illegal benefits to liquor licensees after introducing a new policy. AAP has strongly refuted the claims, with Manish Sisodia claiming that the BJP government at the Centre is afraid of Arvind Kejriwal’s rising popularity.

ED arrests Arun Pillai over money laundering charges
The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Hyderabad-based liquor businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai after grilling him for hours in an alleged case related to Delhi Liquor Policy Case. Arun Pillai, who is an accused in the case, and allegedly represented Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha in a company. K Kavitha has also been named in the case for holding a 65 per cent stake in Indospirits, a liquor company.
