The Ahmedabad Police has succeeded in arresting a bootlegger smuggling liquor from other states including Uttar Pradesh to Gujarat. This infamous bootlegger, who was caught from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, had installed 16 CCTV cameras at his house to escape from the police. Not only this, this bootlegger named Devendra Singh Parihar has also deployed informers in the village so that if any action is taken by the police, he gets a clue.
Devendra Singh Parihar, accused of smuggling liquor from other states in Gujarat, had made the bedroom a control room. The footage of all 16 cameras was visible in the bedroom. It was from here that he used to keep an eye on the activities happening around the house. Devendra Singh Parihar had instructed his informers in the village to give information on seeing an unknown person, but even after all this, the Ahmedabad Police and the State Monitoring Cell caught the smuggler.
Case registered in Sanand
Devendra Singh Parihar, a resident of Chandkheda in Ahmedabad, was reported to be hiding in Agra. After this the police laid a trap and arrested him. There are 11 cases registered on Parihar in entire Gujarat. At present, the police have arrested Parihar in the case registered in Sanand. The State Monitoring Cell of Gujarat Police has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Parihar.
