PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited by the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust on Wednesday to install the idol of Lord Ram in the Garbhagriha of the Ram Mandir at the Ayodhya temple on January 22, 2019. Before Doing The Pran pratishtha of Shri Ram Idol in Ayodhya, On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled to Mathura, the home of Lord Krishna, to take part in the Braj Raj Utsav and commemorate Mirabai’s 525th birthday. During this, Prime Minister Modi spoke on Mirabai’s birth anniversary and said, “Saint Mirabai was an ardent devotee of Lord Shri Krishna, and her life serves as an inspiration to all of us. Being able to take part in the celebration of Saint Mirabai’s 525th birthday in the sacred region of Mathura is an honour for me. “

Upon visiting Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura, the revered birthplace of Bhagwan Krishna, Prime Minister Modi made history by becoming the first PM to take part in the ‘Braj Raj Utsav.’ At the Mathura Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, Prime Minister Modi said prayers. He wrote on X that ‘he had the good fortune to experience divine worship at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura after attending to it. One was moved by the sight of Girdhar Gopal, who seemed to have settled in every part of Braj. I sent him my best wishes for joy, wealth, and the wellbeing of his entire family throughout the nation.’
PM Modi Declares the Nation’s Liberation from a Slavery Mindset
In honour of Sant Mirabai on the occasion of her 525th birthday, the Prime Minister also unveiled a commemorative postage stamp and a Rs. 525 coin. In his words, the nation has broken free from the mindset of slavery for the first time since the heyday of independence. We have received a “Panch Pran” pledge from the Red Fort. We are proud of our heritage and are moving forward with it. The time for the construction of the Ram temple, he claimed, had also arrived. Previous administrations had denied Brajbhoomi the opportunity to flourish. An even more divine form of Lord Krishna will soon be seen here.
