Ayodhya Ram Mandir: On February 4, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and his family are expected to travel to the hallowed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya to receive the blessings of Ram Lalla. Participating in the historic Pran Pratishtha event were people from diverse origins, including several tribal communities, and representatives of major spiritual and theological sects across the nation. On the occasion, Prime Minister Modi spoke to this esteemed group.
Leadership Presence in Ayodhya
Leaders of the RSS, BJP, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad were present at Ayodhya, while notable individuals such as Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP icon Lal Krishna Advani were conspicuously absent.
Coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha celebration at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Shah attended prayers in the national capital’s Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, better known as Birla Mandir, on Monday, January 22.
Remote Participation of Rajnath Singh
Also participating in prayers at home was Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who posted a picture of himself on social media with the message, “On the historic day of ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ I worshipped and offered prayers at home.” “Jai Shri Ram!”
Dignitaries at Ram Temple Unveiling
Uttar Pradesh president Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Prime Minister Modi, and RSS president Mohan Bhagwat saw the unveiling of the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. PM Modi led ceremonies at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony earlier in the day when he entered the temple’s sanctum sanctorum while wearing a folded red drape and a silver umbrella.
