Amul: According to customers who have reported it on Twitter, there appears to be a shortage of Amul butter in the market in a number of locations, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Punjab. It appears that the butter is also unavailable in grocery app stores. Due to the shortage, imitation Amul butter is also being sold in the marketplace.

Ahmedabad was the first to report the scarcity of supply
Ahmedabad was where the scarcity was initially discovered. According to media sources, Amul Butter has been unavailable in Delhi for 20 to 25 days. Distributors claim there is a shortage of supplies and that they are also having trouble getting the products.
“No butter anywhere in Ahmedabad. Dairies, including Amul, are not producing enough. Shopkeepers say the shortage could last a week,” on Twitter, a customer state
Shortage in grocery stores, and supermarkets
According to numerous media reports, delivery services, grocery stores, and supermarkets in many Indian states have reported a shortage of the Amul brand of butter.
One Twitter user noted, “Did you know that Amul butter has become exceedingly hard to come by on any platform or in supermarkets?”
Amul claims that the market’s lack of butter can be attributable to the spike in demand during the Diwali season.

“Amul is producing more butter than is typical. In 4-5 days, the market’s supply and availability of Amul butter would return to normal,” the managing director of Amul told the sources.
