The Defense Ministry of India has given the green signal to the deployment of Pralay Missile on the border of China and Pakistan. The Defense Ministry has given permission for the purchase of 120 Pralay missiles. How many missiles will be deployed on which border, it has not been disclosed. But it is certain that the borders will become more secure with the deployment of this short-range missile.
The Pralay missile has a range of 150 to 500 km. That is, it is the most suitable weapon to eliminate any enemy base near the border. Last year in the month of December, this missile was successfully tested twice in 24 hours. If it is fired from near LAC or LOC, then it will not take much time to destroy China or Pakistan’s bunkers, cannons, military base or their weapon depots.
The accuracy and speed of Pralay missile makes it the most lethal. This missile is designed to hit the ground to the ground (Surface to Surface). This missile weighing 5 tons can carry a conventional weapon weighing 500 to 1000 kg on its nose. The technology of three missiles has been used in making this missile. These missiles are Prahar, Prithvi-2 and Prithvi-3. It is believed that in the holocaust, the technique of attacking at night has also been installed. That is, an attack on Chinese bases is possible even at night. That is, it will have an infrared or thermal scanner which helps in attacking at night.
Pralay missile runs on inertial guidance system. Solid propellant is fuel. That is, high explosive, penetration, cluster munition, fragmentation, thermobaric and chemical weapons can be installed in the warhead of this missile. 8X8 Tata Transporter erector launcher is used for launching. The accuracy of destroying the target of Pralaya is 10 meters that is 33 feet. That is, even if this missile falls within a radius of 33 feet from the target, it will cause as much damage as it would have if it had fallen on the exact target. That is, the more the area is to be destroyed, the more it will be destroyed.
