Arunachal Pradesh: From the Tuting headquarters located in the Upper Siang district, 25 kilometers away, a military helicopter crashed on Friday close to the Migging village in the West Siang district. According to the Defence PRO in Guwahati, the accident site was not accessible by road, and a rescue squad was dispatched.
He claimed that the modern light helicopter was on routine sorties while transporting Army soldiers. The event happened at 10:43 am, and the official reported that a search effort is in progress.

The crash site is in a mountainous area, therefore it will take some time for the search and rescue crew to get there, according to Upper Siang SP Jummar Basar. This is the second Army helicopter crash that has occurred in the state this month.

In Jammu and Kashmir, a second Cheetah helicopter crashed in March not far from the Line of Control. The pilot also passed away in this tragedy.

According to him, the two onboard pilots were sent right away to a military hospital. He stated that one of the pilots who was seriously hurt later died as a result of his wounds.
