Ayodhya Ram Mandir: The consecration of Ramlala in the Ayodhya Ram temple is currently in the midst of preparations. In the meantime, a view of the magnificent Ram temple from space has been released by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). These images were captured by ISRO with one of its own satellites.
Unveiling Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi Site from Space
These images, which were obtained using the Indian Remote Sensing Series satellite, show the Ram Janmabhoomi site, which occupies 2.7 acres. These photos of the Ram temple, which is still under construction in Ayodhya, were shot on December 16 of last year.
However, since then, Ayodhya has been covered in thick fog, making it difficult to get clear photos. These satellite images make Dashrath Mahal and the Saryu River visible. In addition, the Ayodhya railway station is visible.
India Boasts Over Fifty Satellites in Orbit
At now, India possesses over fifty satellites in orbit, with a sub-meter resolution on several of them. The Indian Space Agency’s National Remote Sensing Centre in Hyderabad processed these images. We would like to inform you that ISRO technology has also been utilised at different phases of the Ram temple’s development.
One of the biggest obstacles in this ambitious project was figuring out where exactly to put the Lord Ram idol. The trust that oversaw the construction of the temple desired that the idol be positioned in the sanctum sanctorum, the area thought to be the birthplace of Lord Ram, in a space measuring three by six feet.
