Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Commencing today and lasting till January 21st are the preludes to the grand Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratistha’ (consecration) ceremony in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the main guest during the historic Ram Mandir opening on January 22.

Anticipating a Grand Gathering

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Ram Mandir trust) is anticipating around 7,000 guests, including politicians, businesspeople, saints, and celebrities, to witness the grand opening of the temple. Preparations have been underway for this momentous occasion. Additionally, the consecration event will be attended by close to one hundred representatives from other nations.

‘Garbhgriha of Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla Sarkar’ has all of its golden doors installed, the temple trust said on X on Monday. Notably, the Ram Lalla sculpture designed by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj has been chosen for its installation at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Musicians from Across India to Grace Ram Mandir Opening on January 22

On January 22, musicians from several Indian states will play for the opening of the Ram Mandir, according to news agency PTI, which was confirmed by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai. These artists are Pakhawaj from Uttar Pradesh and Mridang from Tamil Nadu.

In Ayodhya, up to six magnificent entrance gates will be constructed to greet worshippers for the January ‘Pran Pratistha’ of Ram Mandir. There are plans to build a large gate complex called “Shri Ram Dwar” on the Lucknow-Ayodhya road. There are five more of these gates that have been suggested for the following roads: Rae Bareli-Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar-Ayodhya, Gonda-Ayodhya, Prayagraj-Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur-Ayodhya.

Heightened Significance for India

In anticipation of Ram Mandi’s “Pran Pratistha” in January, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will host a massive Sunderkand programme today in all of Delhi’s seats. Senior AAP politician and Minister of Culture for Delhi Saurabh Bharadwaj made the announcement on Monday. He claimed that Sunderkand is a section of the Ramayana, a Hindu epic.

“As you know, Sunderkand programmes used to be organised by the party and by the party MLAs at their respective levels in different assemblies of Delhi. The party has reconstituted the organisation in Delhi, and with it the Sunderkand programme will be run in a structured manner,” Bharadwaj told mediapersons on Monday.
