Bageshwar Dham Baba row: Bageshwar Dham Baba Dhirendra Shastri is currently grabbing all the eyeballs. His live miracles on paper, which were quite popular among his devotees, have now reached the tabloids after his latest controversy. While the 26-year-old has amassed a huge fan following who has come out in his support after the Nagpur event controversy, he is also being labelled fraud by anti-superstition organisation. Amid all this, Dhirendra Shastri aka Bageshwar Baba have attracted neighbouring country Pakistan’s attention.
Pakistan fearful of Bageshwar Dham Baba
Even though no disclosure has been made about Baba’s alleged miracles, but there are people in Pakistan who are surprised to see Baba’s miracles. Baba has a huge fan following across the border as well. Many people from Pakistan also come to Baba’s court. When a woman from Pakistan’s Sindh came under Baba’s shelter, Baba revealed many secrets related to her, which created quite an impact in the neighbouring country.
Pakistanis are irked because natives want to hear Bageshwar baba’s jargons instead of listening to their own maulana’s debates. Some are also belief that baba will impress his Pakistani devotees to convert.
BJP extends support to Bageshwar Dham Baba
Amid nationwide debate over the authenticity of Baba’s alleged miracle, many BJP workers had come out in his support. BJP’s Kapil Mishra held demonstration in support of Bageshwar Baba, alleging he was attacking for stopping conversion.
“I request other seers to come and speak on religious conversions and ‘love jihad’ just like Bageshwar ji, Dipankar ji, Devkinandan Thakur ji, and Swami Ramdev ji are speaking,” Mishra told ANI.
“Attacks on Shastri ji started happening during the time of Christmas when he helped those living in the tribal area return to the religion they acquired at birth. He raised questions on ‘love jihad’. Before all this, no attacks were happening. It is our duty to support Bageshwar Dham Maharaj Ji,” he added.
