Bhojpuri star and Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan has lots of reasons to be happy and filled with pride. Ishita Shukla, his little daughter and an NCC Cadet, will join in the Indian Army when she turns 21. Shukla joined the armed forces as a member of the Agnipath Scheme, an initiative of the Indian government.
According to the scheme’s guidelines, young people from across the country can enrol between the ages of 17 and 21. According to the proposed Service Act’s provisions, candidates must undergo four years of training. Candidates can serve the country as Agniveers once the proposed length of the scheme has been completed.
In a tweet from last year, Kishan said that his daughter had asked to participate in the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme, and he had agreed.

Shukla had taken part in the Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2023 earlier this year. Kishan posted a photo of her on Instagram along with the remark, “My brave daughter Ishita Shukla has been working very hard for the past 3 years to serve our nation. She is a cadet of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate, training in this bitter cold and fighting the fog for the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path. Proud moment as a father cuz On 26th January, she will take part in national parade in front of Hon’ble President Smt. @durapadi_murmu ji and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and the entire nation. Kudos to all those performing”.
Kishan, who represents the Gorakhpur constituency for the ruling party in his native state of Uttar Pradesh, has received several congratulations from prominent BJP officials and other lawmakers.
The ‘Kaashi Amarnath’ actor is praised by his fans for his upbringing and for setting an example by making sure his children serve a greater good for society than being artists.
